Work with us
Our history
Avantis Law’s roots go back to the 1990s, when Fish & Co Solicitors provided family and mental health law services to people in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area.
In 2023, the practice was acquired and continued its commitment to legally aided work nationwide, operating from Hertfordshire from late 2024.
We have since completed our rebrand and opened a second office in Reading, extending our support to clients across Berkshire as well as beyond.
Our Team
At Avantis Law, our team is built on a shared commitment to people, not just process.
We bring together experienced legal professionals and dedicated support staff who work collaboratively to guide clients through some of the most sensitive and challenging moments in their lives. What unites us is not only our expertise in family law, but our approach grounded in compassion, clarity, and purpose.
We are listeners first and advisers second. We take the time to understand each individual’s circumstances, concerns, and goals before providing clear, practical guidance. Every member of our team plays a role in ensuring that clients feel supported, informed, and respected at every stage.
Internally, we operate as a connected and supportive team. We value open communication, shared learning, and mutual respect. We believe that when our people feel confident and supported, our clients benefit from better outcomes and a better experience.
Our team is not defined by hierarchy alone, but by collaboration, accountability, and a shared responsibility to do what is right especially for those who need it most.
